Strike of 250 CNG pump operators in South Gujarat including Surat

About 250 CNG pumps in South Gujarat, including Surat, will remain completely closed for a day on February 6 if the oil companies do not increase the margin (commission). The margin of CNG pumps is determined by the company on a cost base formula. At the time of renewing the retail agreement every two years, the margin is increased keeping in mind the cost of trade. But after increasing the margin in 2017, no increase has been given till date. To the Ministry of Petroleum dated 1st December, Ordered to increase the margin from 2021.
