Spanish supermarket chain uses CNG to power its maintenance fleet
As part of its commitment to the environment and its bet on sustainable processes, Hiper Usera has added eight new compressed natural gas vans that will be used for maintenance activities.
These new environmentally-friendly vehicles have a total range of 730 kilometers and have been equipped in a totally personalized way and in collaboration with the team that is using them.
“The incorporation of these vans shows that Hiper Usera continues to strengthen its commitment to environmental sustainability while improving safety and comfort when traveling in the technical department,” said Logistics Director José Eugenio Fernández.
This recent acquisition joins other environmental actions that Hiper Usera has been carrying out in the past. For example, in 2018 and 2019, the company implemented a fleet of several dozen CNG vehicles.
