Nasir Shah inspects repair work of 84-inch water line of KW&SB

KARACHI – Sindh Minister for Information and Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah on Saturday visited University Road and inspected the repair work of 84-inch diameter water line of Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KW&SB).

Nasir Shah inspecting the repair work of the pipeline, gave strict instructions to the engineers to expedite the repair work. He said the water supply should be ensured by completing the repair work as soon as possible. The officials concerned of the KW&SB briefed the minister about the ongoing repair works. Nasir Shah also inspected the University Road from Nipa Chowrangi to Safooran Chowrangi.

Sindh CNG stations closed till tomorrow

CNG stations in Sindh will remain closed till June 14 (tomorrpw), the Sui Southern Gas Company announced on Saturday. The decision was taken because of a gas shortfall, according to an SSGC spokesperson. “To meet this demand, we have decided to close gas stations till Monday, 8am,” the spokesperson said.
