Cubogas delivered compressors for first public CNG station in Bosnia

Cubogas, subsidiary of Snam specializing in technological solutions for CNG filling stations, has supplied compressors for the first public natural gas distributor for buses and cars in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the Sarajevo metropolitan area.

The development of the station, which was opened in June, comes after Cubogas was awarded a tender from Sarajevo Gas, the company that deals with gas distribution in the region of the Bosnian capital.

The technical solution provided by Cubogas (two 800 Sm3/h compressors each) allows the station to simultaneously refuel two buses and two cars, but is already sized to double the points of supply.

The initiative is part of a broader plan to convert local public transport from diesel to CNG and confirms the international vocation of the activities of Cubogas, which in the second half of 2019 was awarded, among others, two orders for the supply of RATP buses in the Paris metropolitan area.
