The Port Authority of Huelva and Enagás signed a collaboration agreement to promote the new LNG logistics services, which will be provided at the Enagás regasification plant, located in the service area of the port. The objective of the agreement is to increase the competitiveness of LNG services, technical feasibility, the use of the regasification plant and supplying this type of energy in the Port of Huelva through a joint strategy.

Moreover, the agreement, which will strengthen ties of cooperation to ensure efficient delivery of LNG to ships, machinery and commercial vehicles, involves the implementation of studies regarding management and technical knowledge of the handling and marketing of LNG. The Port Authority may also apply gas to different port activities, because of its economic and environmental advantages.
