MOSCOW: Russian state oil giant Rosneft has awarded a tender to sell Urals and CPC Blend crude oil loading in October 2020-March 2021 to Trafigura and Total, trade sources said on Wednesday.

Total won the right to lift up to 6 million tonnes of Urals from Primorsk and Ust-Luga ports over the 6-month period in 2020-2021, the sources told Reuters.

The premiums offered to Rosneft’s formula price this time were slightly above the previous tender, the sources added. Total and Gunvor were winners of Urals volumes loading from Baltic ports in the previous tender.

In the Mediterranean, Rosneft awarded trading firm Trafigura from 1.32 million tonnes to 5.28 million tonnes of Urals loading in 140,000-tonne and 80,000-tonne cargoes from the Black Sea‘s Novorossiisk in October 2020-March 2021.

Rosneft also awarded Trafigura from 0.48 million tonnes to 1.35 million tonnes of CPC Blend loading from Black Sea’s Yuzhnaya Ozereyevka terminal during the six-month period, traders said.
