SECOND EDITION of “ज्ञानानुभव प्रवाह सहयात्रा” [Industry Visit; GPS)] at the LNG Storage and Dispensing Facility of M/s Think Gas at Bhopal (M.P.) on 22nd March 2024.
As you are aware, Natural Gas Society (NGS) is a registered Non-Profit Society and its objectives include:
(a) Promotion, facilitation and furtherance of sustainable growth of Natural Gas in India,
(b) Policy advocacy by representing collective interests of downstream and midstream Natural gas sector
(c) Fostering and promoting the safe and healthy growth of the sector through the sharing of knowledge & experience and technology innovations relevant to natural gas and
(d) Work on common issues such as formulation and review of Technical and Safety Standards
The Members of NGS include major Natural Gas Companies and City Gas Distribution Companies viz. GAIL (India) Ltd, Indraprastha Gas Ltd, [IGL], Mahanagar Gas Ltd, [MGL], Petronet LNG Ltd, [PLL], Central UP Gas Ltd, [CUGL], Maharashtra Natural Gas Ltd, [MNGL], Green Gas Ltd, [GGL], Bhagyanagar Gas Ltd, [BGL], Aavantika Gas Ltd ,[AGL], Adani Total Gas Ltd, [ATGL] Torrent Gas Ltd., Think Gas Ltd, Tripura Natural Gas Co Ltd. [TNGCL], Indradhanush Gas Grid Ltd. [IGGL], SAGE, Alethe Labs and M/s Secure Meters, M/s ABB India Ltd., etc.
Further, in order to create a strong and meaningful Industry-Academia Collaboration, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), Jais, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU), Gandhinagar, Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence (SNU), Noida & Chitkara University (CU), Chandigarh have also been enrolled as members of NGS.
In line with its objectives, NGS has conceptualized and launched a new initiative titled “ज्ञानानुभव प्रवाह सहयात्रा” [Gyanaanubhav Prawaah Sahayatra – (GPS)].
Under this initiative, the representatives of various Member CGD/NG entities will visit the installations / maintenance base of the other CGD companies and exchange opinions and ideas about various practices being followed by the host company. This will enable sharing of experiences apart from fruitful exchange of information and good engineering practices being followed.
Accordingly, The FIRST Edition of “ज्ञानानुभव–प्रवाह सहयात्रा” [Gyanaanubhav Prawaah Sahayatra – (GPS)] was launched at Mahanagar Gas Ltd. (MGL), Mumbai on March 24, 2023.
Considering the fact that M/s Think Gas have set up LNG Storage and dispensing facilities at Bhopal (MP), they were requested to host the next edition of GPS at their premises. We are pleased to inform you that the Management of Think Gas has kindly consented for showcasing their facilities/sharing knowledge and experience with the Industry Members and it has been decided to organize the SECOND EDITION of “ज्ञानानुभव प्रवाह सहयात्रा” [Gyanaanubhav Prawaah Sahayatra – (GPS)] at the LNG Storage and Dispensing Facility of M/s Think Gas at Bhopal (M.P.) on 22nd March 2024 [Friday].
I would, therefore, request you to nominate two (02) or MORE delegates from your esteemed organization for participating in the Industry Visit under the second edition of “GPS”.
