Seminar on Safety in Natural Gas Transmission & City Gas Distribution

The NATURAL GAS SOCIETY (NGS) organised a Seminar on “Safety in Natural Gas Transmission & City Gas Distribution” at Noida on 13th September 2024.

The response was overwhelming with a large participation of delegates from the NG/CGD industry and associated sectors.

Shri D V Shastry, ED, NGS welcomed the gathering. The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Shri Bhuwan Chandra Tripathi, Former CMD GAIL and Non Executive Chairman, Essar Group, with a special address by Shri Rajeev Kumar Singhal, Director (Business Development). GAIL. Shri Shailesh Kumar Singh, CGM, Indian Oil Corp Limited was the Keynote speaker on this occasion.

The CEO / Leaders’ Panel Forum Session on “Governance Mechanism & Role of Leadership in Achieving Safety Excellence” was moderated by Dr S P Garg former ED (HSE), GAIL / Dy MD, MYPG TIS; and the eminent panelists were: Sh Kamal Kishore Chatiwal, MD, Indraprastha Gas Limited, Sh Gautam Chakraborty, GAIL Gas Limited, Sh Bhashit Dholakia, COO, IndianOil – Adani Gas Pvt. Ltd., Sh Sandeep Trehan, CEO, THINK Gas LNG Investments Ltd and Sh Rakesh Mewada, AVP-HSSE, Pipeline Infrastructure Limited

The technical sessions comprising Presentations & Experience sharing were held and were Chaired by Sh Sunit Verma, Principal Consultant, Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB), Prof. Dr. Anil Kumar Gupta, PD-HighCAP, HoD, National Institute of Disaster Management and Shri U K VERMA, Executive Director (Technical), Engineers India Limited respectively.
