Synergy Natural Resources plans conversion on 200 Peterbilt trucks
The Georgia-based company announced it signed a contract to convert 200 Peterbilt trucks to natural gas. Westport Fuel Systems out of Louisville, KY is supplying dual tank icepack kits for the conversion for a total cost of $7.5 million.
Synergy invented and developed the revolutionary PASS Box, a weatherproof portable aggregate supply system, and now is ramping up for the demonstrations all across the United States of their innovative technology. The entire project budget for Synergy is $94 million.
The 200 Peterbilt trucks will use 13 trailer mounted mobile natural gas refuelers provided by NuBlu Innovations out of Flower Mound, TX. NuBlu is developing a natural gas liquification facility in West Texas. Synergy is revolutionizing the transport of bulk aggregate while taking clean fuel initiatives for its fleet.
