Mohali in Chandigarh to get its first CNG station on Nov 11

Chandigarh, November 4 Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal will inaugurate the first CNG station at Mohali on November 11. The function will also be attended by Union Minister for Petroleum DharmendraPradhan. The CNG station has been set up at the Indian Oil petrol pump in Sector 56. 

A decision to this effect was taken during a meeting between the Punjab Chief Minister and a joint delegation of Adani Gas and the Indian Oil Corporation that called on him at his residence this morning. Also, Mohali is set to become the first city in Punjab to join the premier league of cities having the City Gas Distribution (CGD) network in the country. During the meeting, the delegation, headed by BashitDholakia and CEO of Adani Gas Rajeev Sharma, told the Chief Minister that the geographical region of Chandigarh, including Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula, had been selected for the CGD network.
