LNK Energy launches integrated clean energy platform; plans ₹10,000 crore investment over five years

The company said it is pursuing an integrated, end-to-end energy strategy anchored in future-ready technologies, backward integration and long-term capital allocation.

LNK Energy on Monday announced its launch as a next-generation integrated clean energy platform, with an initial investment plan of ₹10,000 crore over the next five years, as it looks to build capabilities across advanced manufacturing, green fuels and renewable power generation.

The company also unveiled its first project—a 6 GW solar cell and module manufacturing facility with integrated ingot and wafer production—spread over more than 60 acres at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar in Maharashtra. LNK Energy has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Maharashtra government for setting up the facility.

LNK Energy has been co-founded by Paritosh Ladhani, Joint Managing Director of SLMG Beverages; Kushagra Nandan, Co-Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of REnergy Dynamics (RED) and former Managing Director of SunSource Energy; and Varun Karad, BioEnergy Entrepreneur and Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of RED.

The company said its strategy is anchored in end-to-end participation across the energy value chain, with a focus on future-ready technologies, backward integration and long-term capital allocation aligned with India’s clean energy and manufacturing priorities.

The upcoming manufacturing facility will produce high-efficiency solar cells and modules using advanced technologies and global manufacturing practices. Over time, LNK Energy also plans to expand into adjacent components such as junction boxes, battery platforms and energy storage systems to support the development of a domestic clean energy ecosystem.

Beyond manufacturing, LNK Energy said it will foray into green fuels, with a strong focus on green hydrogen, aimed at supporting the decarbonisation of hard-to-abate industrial sectors. The company also plans to build a renewable energy generation portfolio as an Independent Power Producer, including hybrid and open access solutions integrating solar and storage assets.

Paritosh Ladhani said the company would bring an institutional mindset focused on scale, quality and execution discipline to clean energy manufacturing. “Having built large, complex manufacturing and supply-chain businesses over decades, we strongly believe that scale, quality and execution discipline are non-negotiable,” he said.

Kushagra Nandan said LNK Energy has been conceived as a long-term institution rather than a short-cycle opportunity, with a focus on combining scale, technology depth and capital discipline to create long-term value.

Varun Karad said the company’s integrated structure across manufacturing, green fuels and renewable power was aimed at delivering scalable and reliable energy solutions using advanced technologies.

LNK Energy said it is promoted by entrepreneurs with a track record across renewable energy, large-scale manufacturing and diversified businesses, with a focus on governance, disciplined execution and long-term impact in India’s clean energy transition.
