Landi Renzo USA Gains CARB Cert for 2017 CNG Ford Cutaway

Landi Renzo USA, an approved Ford Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM), has gained certification from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) for the 2017MY Ford E-450 Cutaway vehicle engine family (HFMXE06.8BWZ). It builds on the certification for the same vehicle issued December last year by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
With both CARB & EPA certifications in hand, this vehicle class can now be legally converted to operate on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in all 50 States.

Ford maintains the warranty on the base vehicle. The alternative fuel modification iswarranted by the QVM.

CARB is a part of the California Environmental Protection Agency, an organization which reports directly to the Governor’s Office in the Executive Branch of California State Government. It’s mission is to promote and protect public health, welfare and ecological resources through the effective and efficient reduction of air pollutants while recognizing and considering the effects on the economy of the state.
