IIFL Gail India gains on inviting bids for LNG delivery

Gail India is trading on a firm note in early morning deals on the BSE, after media reported that the company has launched a tender to buy to liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargoes for prompt delivery, linked to demand for gas by various local fertiliser companies.

Now, the stock is trading at the highest level of the day – with a jump of over a percent to Rs. 365.

The counter has seen trades of around 6,261 shares as against the two-week daily average volume of 54,000 shares.
