GREECE’S CAPITAL GAS ADDS FIFTH LNGC TO FLEET
Greek shipping group Capital Gas has taken delivery of a fifth LNG carrier (LNGC), the company said on August 23, with four more such vessels expected to arrive by the end of 2023.
The Adamastos LNGC has a 174,000-m3 storage capacity and is equipped with XDF engines, an air lubrication system and increased filling limits. It has been chartered to France’s Engie for seven years, Capital Gas said.
Capital Gas took delivery of its first LNGC, Aristos I, in November. This was followed by Aristidis I in January this year, Aristarchos in June and Attalos earlier this month. The company is awaiting the delivery of Asklipios in September, followed by Asterix I in January 2023 and two more vessels in October and December of that year.
