GASNAM brings natural gas mobility to the European University

The Iberian Association of Natural Gas for Mobility (GASNAM) and the European University signed an

agreement for the development of specialized teaching and training in the Master of Automotive

Engineering, the European University offers among its various degrees. With the new agreement,

students of this Master will have the experience of GASNAM professionals to know the advantages of

natural gas as fuel in all applications of mobility and its growing presence in the global energy landscape.

Professional and technical graduates in any branch of engineering enrolled in the master will be able to

know the advantages of natural gas that, along with renewable-sourced biomethane, is the only real,

economic and ecological alternative to petroleum products, particularly in land and maritime transport

sector, to achieve the objectives of reducing carbon footprint.

Through this degree, the European University continues to promote innovation and offers students an

agenda designed according to the reality of the sector in which professionals from businesses and

prestigious institutions participate according to their needs. Focused on employability, this degree

provides training from the technical-practical point of view, as well as the project management and

production to achieve economic and technically viable solutions to the current problems of the

automotive industry.

GASNAM was created in Spain in 2013, but has since expanded its activities to Portugal, representing

the Iberian interests related to CNG and LNG in all types of mobility. GASNAM maintains a continuous

growth, rising from 30 members in January 2014 to the current 97, in both land and sea sections.
