Fornovo Gas Appoints Russian Machines Corp. as Distributor

Russian Machines Corporation, holder and manager of machine-building assets of industrial group Basic Element, and Fornovo Gas S.r.I., Traversetolo-based Italian manufacturer of equipment for CNG filling stations, have signed a cooperation agreement in the field of CNG equipment. RM-CNG company, a part of Russian Machines corporation, will be an official distributor of Fornovo Gas equipment in Russia and other CIS countries and will organize maintenance service for Italian CNG equipment.

The companies plan that RM-CNG will purchase and use the Fornovo Gas equipment in its own filling stations. Moreover, they will consider possible localization of CNG equipment production in Russia and will discuss extension of the cooperation in the future.

Methane is now one of the most fuel efficient and environment-friendly types of fuel but the lack of well-developed filing network prevents it from spreading in Russia.
