CNG stations in Sindh in Pakistan to have smooth gas supply

KARACHI: The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has agreed to supply gas to all compressed natural gas (CNG) stations in Sindh round the clock till February 21.

ShabbirSulemanji, chairman of the Sindh Zone of the All Pakistan CNG Association, said that after successful negotiations with the SSGC the people of Sindh, including Karachi, would get 24-hour CNG supply. He said that all gas stations of the province would remain open round the clock form February 15 to February 21.

Talking to Daily Times, Sulemanji said the SSGC was not facing gas shortage this season. He said that keeping in view the situation the Sindh Zone of the association held a meeting with the management of the SSGC and asked for 24-hour gas supply. As a result, he said, the SSGC management agreed to supply gas to all CNG stations in the province round the clock until February 21. Earlier, the SSCG was doing load management three days a week.
