CNG, PNG rates cut in Gujarat
Over 10.25 lakh domestic consumers will be benefited as the state-run Gujarat Gas Ltd that supplies piped natural gas (PNG) in households and compressed natural gas (CNG) for vehicu ar transport, has reduced price of gas across the state. The price cut came after he ministry of petroleum and natural gas reduced the price of domestic natural gas to $3.82 per million metric British thermal unit.
According to the Gujarat Gas Ltd, the new PNG price for domestic consumers will come down to Rs 26.35 per standard cubic meter (SCM) from current Rs 27.21 per SCM. Similarly , CNG prices will be reduced to Rs 45.65 per kg from Rs 47 per kg.
