Clean Energy Compression Enters Spanish NGV Market

Clean Energy Compression (CEC), a subsidiary of Clean Energy Fuels Corp. has signed Gas & Go in Madrid, Spain, as a value-added channel partner, extending CEC’s footprint in Europe. CEC, formerly IMW Industries, claims position as the largest sole manufacturer of non-lubricated natural gas compressors and related technologies for natural gas fueling applications in the world.

Currently priced at $3.40 or more per gallon lower than diesel or gasoline, the use of natural gas reduces costs significantly for vehicle and fleet owners, while reducing greenhouse gas emissions up to 30% in light-duty vehicles, and 23% in medium to heavy-duty vehicles.
