With increasing pollution in the world, the government is taking steps to prevent global warming due to the greenhouse gases. This is why they have facilitated the use of bio-CNG in the vehicles by allowing automakers to manufacture and distribute vehicles fuelled by bio-CNG.

The Road Transport and Highways Ministry recently notified that after properly testing the newly designed vehicles on bio-CNG and for other exhaust emissions, the automaker can manufacture and sell the product officially. Fuelling of bio-CNG will also be available throughout the country and will be a much cheaper option than the alternatives being used nowadays.

New bio-CNG Rules Launched for Vehicles

In a recent step taken to promote this fact, an ethanol-powered bus was manufactured by Scania, which runs on the streets of Nagpur. With the official launch of this event, the government expects a lot of companies to participate in this initiative and take a step towards preventing pollution around the country.

It can be seen that Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways of India, Nitin Gadkari, is taking a lot of steps nowadays to make the roads safe and the environment cleaner. He also recently brought some changes in the rules that would help in preventing accidents, and taking this step after the former one is a commendable task. He is of the view that this bio-diesel could help in reducing the Carbon Dioxide emission by as much as 95%. He also informed that the use of bio-CNG will help in cutting down the huge import bills on petrol and crude oil.

If we keep these facts straight and observe them in a broader criteria, it won’t be wrong to say that these alternative methods will help in conserving the fuel forms that are used nowadays, and would also help in saving the environment. The trapping up of greenhouse gases could be brought to an end and thus help in preventing the extra heat that is increasing every day. Those days have finally come when Bio-CNG, Electric Vehicles, etc. could be used as an alternative to petrol, diesel, etc.
