Business Line Gas distributors rise on positive tariff amendment
Shares of gas distributors rose with Gujarat State Petronet rallying 4.46 per cent and GAIL (India) gaining 2.75 per cent.
Sector regulator has issued draft amendments for calculation of natural gas pipeline tariff which is seen as positive. The regulator is now considering actual volume or 75 per cent of capacity, whichever is higher, as volume divisor for companies in operations for more than five years
Gujarat State Petronet was among the top gainers among BSE large caps.
