9th Edition of India Smart Utility Week (ISUW) 2023

NGS & IGSF jointly organized a program on ‘Smart City Gas Distribution’ on 3^rd March, 2023 as a part of India Smart Utility Week (ISUW 2023) in which Shri D V Shastry, ED, NGS participated as a speaker. Shri V C Chittoda, Sr. Consultant, NGS Moderated the session on India’s target to have 15% Gas in its energy mix by 2030.

Dignitaries/experts like Padma Bhushan Prof Kirit Parikh, Shri K K Jha, ex Member, PNGRB, Shri A K Tiwari, Former ED (Pipelines), IOCL, Shri Raman Chadha, CEO GAIL Gas Ltd., Shri Deepak Mehta, Head- Business Development, IGX, Shri Kapil Jain, Chief Operating Officer, GAIL Gas, Shri Kamil Bhullar, Research Officer, Energy, NITI Ayog, Shri Rajeev Kumar, Head & Marketing and O&M, IGL, Shri Raman Srivastava, Vice President, Regulatory, Corporate Affairs and Risk Management, IGL, Shri Neeraj Pasricha, Vice President, Pipeline Infrastructure Limited and Shri R Kannan, DGM, Regulatory Affairs, GAIL participated in various sessions and expressed their views on issues like (1) Pricing freedom for Natural Gas in India (2) India’s target to have 15% Gas in its energy mix by 2030 and (3) New regulations to accelerate Natural Gas Infrastructure.
