Indian Oil launches super-premium XP100 Octane in Visakhapatnam, first in AP

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Indian Oil has launched the XP100 Premium Petrol for sports bikes and cars in Visakhapatnam.

Priced at above Rs 150 per litre, the 100 Octane petrol is designed to give faster acceleration and enhancing fuel economy, said RSS Rao, head of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana branches.

The XP100 fuel is available at the Company’s retail outlet at Appu Ghar, on the Visakhapatnam beach road.

Currently, the regular petrol marketed in the country has a 91 Octane. This 100 octane patrol is more powerful than the regular one, Rao added.

The XP100 was launched in Visakhapatnam based on the aspirational demographics and availability of high-end vehicles, Rao said while adding that Visakhapatnam is the first city in Andhra Pradesh to have introduced the fuel.

The petrol will be used for sports bikes and cars. It is said that good maintenance is obtained through the consumption of this petrol. The petrol services were already available in 21 cities across the country.
